I have firefox installed on my flashdrive. Im trying to use it at school, because it has all my bookmarks and is a lot easier to use than Internet explorer the way i have it set up. Anyway, every time i try to start it, i get a message saying "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on your computer". I dont want to do anything bad, i just want to be able to use it. And no i cant install it on the school computer, i signed some kind of tech agreement. So does anyone know of some way to get around them blocking me from using firefox on a flashdrive?

Your school is probably preventing students from running any unauthorized programs on school PCs.

This includes USB versions.

Talk to tech support about allowing Firefox, it's actually safer than IE.

Even if you can get around, they will probably also be blocking the internet access of Firefox. so you'd end up with a Firefox with no internet access.
