I'm considered attractive by most guys, I get along well with them *too well* as in borderline flirting and stuff, but after the flirting dies down, they don't want to be friends with me.

I invite them to functions, and only the guys I don't flirt with accept my invitation.

Why is this?

me and her been best friends since 2004 and we had a relationship like a regular man/woman best friend relationship is. we use to curse each other out not for serious but for play. a few months ago she was like " u need to stop calling me bitches and a hoe when we playing cuz i'm not ur male friends i'm a female and u have to respect me even though we friends. and another thing i don't wanna hear about ur sex stories with this girl and that girl." i replied with the rite answer and til this day i don't do anything like that to her. so she called me last week and she said " you don't call no more?" so i was like i been busy wrkin. she started asking questions like "y you don't come visit?, r u seeing anyone? etc.." i told my brother and he said where getting closer and our friendship is maturing. i went bu her house and she had a male company over there and i went introduced my self and it was cool. so all i'm asking is, is she catchin feelins or not? if she is i guess she takin it slow

An indulgence removes the punishment of temporal sin right, but after confession when a priest assigns a certain penance and you complete the penance it is said that you remove temporal punishment aswell, right? So what is the point for the living to obtain indulgences for themselves? (I get why you would want to obtain one for the souls in purgatory due to the fact that they cannot do penance or pray for themselves but I don't get what the point of obtaining one for yourself is)

I hate going to the doctors but have had a virus for over a week and have had a sore throat for about a week. And My ear feels as though it has fluid in it and is blocked, although is not amazingly painful unless it shifts a bit, I have a cough and headache. I don't want to go to the doctors unless it won't go away on its own.

Bought a duplex in Sept in TN, remodeled, and put it up for rent. We have ZERO income form the property (just recently rented in Feb), only expenses. Without any income generation from TN, do we still need to file a TN return? We had plenty of expenses in TN (which we captured on our Fed return), but the only thing turbo tax is showing on TN return is stock sales (which I am marking as non-taxable as I paid CA state taxes - my resident state - hopefully I did that correctly).

I am in love with a girl, we were lovers for 8 month 2 years ago. we broke up, reason was she was tired of our relationship. then we started again six months ago. she is kind a girl that doesn't show up her emotions. she keeps everything in her heart, I tried to change her but it's her personality and I wasn't able to change that so I became like her. when we started our relationship for the second time she was telling me that we are not boy/girl friends, but I said that i wanna marry you and she accepted to think about marriage. I know she likes me and I am sure she has been madly in love with me 2 years ago. but right now I don't know because of her introverted nature. we accepted to just stay in touch so in last six months we only met once. we speaking on the phone once a week. I am leaving alone and it's getting hard for me to stay alone, i have guy friends but I need a girlfriend, sex and a relationship with her. but she seems not ready for that, I don't know why.

Microsoft has downloaded K B 931764 'Updated Junk email filter', but it fails to install. As it goes I am not particullary bothered about this as I am well protected by other means. The problem is I can't get rid of the download or the annoying yellow shield icon on my task bar. Can any help? Please don't refer me to the Microsoft site; navigating that is like trying to juggle soot.
