Where could I find a theater in CA?

I was just wondering if someone could tell me if there is a theater in CA, 'cuz a friend asked me. Please guys, can you help me with this?

Dozens in Los Angeles and San Francisco and some in most other places above 5,000 population. It is a huge state. Pick a city, go to an Internet Yellow Pages and type in Theaters.
