My fiance & I live in Texas (community property state). I knew him when he was going through his divorce & how incredibly fair he was (actually more than fair) to his ex. They did not have a prenup, but do have two kids. We are getting married soon and I've been thinking about a prenup. Not so much to protect me from him - our assets are fairly equal, we've already discussed & planned how to take care of debts, etc. I think we are pretty good on the financial front. However, I want to make sure that his ex can't come back & get increased child support because of my income. (This is my first marriage, I do not have kids of my own). If we sign a prenup that says he is not entitled to any of my earnings, would that ensure that my income is never taken into consideration if she petitions for increased child support. I love him, but they aren't my kids and I don't want my money going to pay for them. He does not pay alimony (TX doesn't order alimony). He is always on time with CS

My lease states that once I bring disrepair to my landlord's attention he has 40 days to comply with repairing it and after that I don't owe him rent anymore. The bathroom is full of black mold, and I'm positive this is the cause of my current health problems. I've been here for 10 months. There are loose boards on the porch that I asked to have nailed down when I first moved in, and the landlord himself has fallen through it since, and still won't fix it. The floor underneath the toilet is rotten and because of it the toilet rocks when you sit on it. Also, I signed the lease based on the fact that the rental was advertised as a year-round fully insulated small cabin, though upon receipt of a $170 heating bill and investigation of the attic, I learned that there was in fact NO insulation to be found at all. How can I find out my rights? Do I really need a lawyer? Do I still have to pay rent?

my bf suggest me to choose myself in the market what i want as new year gift..i said i dont want him to go to any trouble but he insisted and he took me to a shoe store..and finally i chose a cheap pair of sandals..and oh he spend a long time on asking for discount..and when the shop keeper didnt give that much he asked he began to curse him when we get out of the shop .from that day i begin to hate him..i prefered him not to buy any gift but i never be in that situation...

HAs anyboby out there taken antidepressants for PPD ( post partum depression), and if so how long did you have to take them? Do you have to take them 4 life? I do not want to rely on medication forever , just to feel like myself and enjoy my family. Any examples, suggestions, or comments.
