my bf suggest me to choose myself in the market what i want as new year gift..i said i dont want him to go to any trouble but he insisted and he took me to a shoe store..and finally i chose a cheap pair of sandals..and oh he spend a long time on asking for discount..and when the shop keeper didnt give that much he asked he began to curse him when we get out of the shop .from that day i begin to hate him..i prefered him not to buy any gift but i never be in that situation...

well if your bf said that i wouldn't take it easy but don't get to mad. just say to him that he was the one that told you to choose something that you wanted. so that gave you every right to choose what you want.

WOW first off I feel sorry for you because that guy was embarissing you and he is totally not meant to have a GF! WOW well I wouldn't be going out with him because obviously he cares more about getting that discount than your happiness! He needs to get a grip!

Next time go with flowers, if there is a next time. My bf and I don't buy each other gifts for any holiday or occasion, it saves alot of hassle and stress, not to mention money!

If the guy is cursing people out and acting crazy he is not right for you. If you have resentment towards him then his personality really bothers you. I would find a guy who isn't a loose canon.

It's fairly obvious that he couldn't spare the money, and panicked. To 'chuck a fruity', as we say in Aus., in front of you, shows both his immaturity and his inability to control his temper. Go find someone else, and put him where he belongs - in your past.
