It is quite not right
saliva of mouth mixes with food and goes in stomach to digest food. moreover peptic juices are added to food for digestion. drinking water after meals dilutes the digestive juices which become less effective and cause indigestion.
It is said
drinking water before meals is 'gold'
in mid of meals it is 'silver'
after the meals it is 'dust'

I think drinking water after food is not right.. You should drink water after 15 minutes of meals. It will help you digest your food, otherwise you can have water inbetween your meals but not after.

Well, it doesn't really matter whether you are drinking water from meals. It will only make you feel bloated that's all, so you don't have to worry too much about it.
Hope this answers your question.

There is evidence to support both schools of thought which makes either one both believeable and unbelieveable.
If you enjoy water after dinner, then keep drinking it. I drink it before, between courses, and after to cleanse the pallette.
