last spring my husband and i started landscapeing our front yard (our side). When our neighbor saw us she had to come and help she told us where to put things how to do it this year we have worked out our new landscapeing ,but don't want a nosy neighbor intrudeing, we want to make the space our own ,however she has already insisted on makeing it a neighbor project even going as far as giveing us a plant list , i do not want to create strife between us ,but i also do not want petunas and hasta's everywhere

It's amazing that the general public is so dumb they believe all the hype put out by oil companies and GM. Electric cars are here! They can exceed 100 miles on one charge. They are faster and quieter than gas. Most importantly they help eliminate global warming. More and more people will be 'Plugging In' lecctricx cars. They are being manufactured now. GM's latest fiasco was announcing they may have an electric car by 2010...if it works stated their spokes person. Is this a sick joke on us at $3.00 a gallon +? Seems rideiculus but somebody is making a ton of dough to prevent electric cars. Theyare here and more on the way. Not half-*** hybrids but true electric cars. It's all over the net just do a search electriccars.com or Zap or Tesla or China electriccars.....Bush better get on the band wagon now. This is the biiggest topic for reelection. We don't want to take it anymore..

hey! thursday's my friend's birthday and i want to bake her a real nice chocolate cake! however, i usually don't bake cakes (i'm a real brownie and cookie person) so i don't have any good tried recipes! i'd appreciate if any of you send me sites or any homemade grandmother recipes (mind you, she likes the REAL chocolatey type of cakes!) please help me with this yeah, cause both of us have really drifted apart and i hope this would seem like a gesture of you much she truly means to me! also, on friday, my parents are invited one of their childhood friends over, whose daughter is my really good friend too! and for them, i want to bake another cake... however, not chocolate or any REALLY RICH cakes... any suggestions are highly appreciated! xD thanks so much!

The subject is marriage. My man and I have been together for 7 years. We have 2 children together and have a great relationship. In the beginning we were both in agreement on the fact that marriage was somewhat of a dumb thing to do. Now, my thoughts have changed on the subject. I want it. I want the vows in front of friends and family and I want the celebration. Our daughter keeps asking about it, she wants her parents to be married. This is more than just a useless ritual to me now, it's very important to me. He stands firm, hates the idea of marriage, but is committed to me as if we were. I don't know why it has become so important to me, but it has. I wouldn't feel right trying to pressure him into it. What are your thoughts? Is it the standard story of why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? What makes you (not all of you, of course) fear or reject the idea of marriage when you are with someone you plan on growing old with?
