i put it on my shaving brush and it wont go on it all gets absorbed by the brush and just seems to go on very thin not like shaving cream....when i spread it with my hands it comes better but it doesnt do like shaving cream...is it supposed to go on very thick like shaving cream or like a very thin coat and sometime even so thin that it seems see through instead of white...and am i supposed to mix it with water like shaving cream is applied on a wet face to make foam...but what do i do with that put it on a dry face....and is a thin see through coat normal...i dont know i put about a few inchs of the foam on but when i spread it it goes on like its almost see through is it coz my face is wet and its getting diluted too much...im used to using shaving cream and just switched to that and i dont know whats normal...it still gives me a smooth shave but tell me how to use it....

I know it's the age old question but I'm really struggling. I've read the usual reviews at dpreview etc. I have about £400- £450 to spend on a digital SLR.

Here's what I'm looking at.

Nikon D40

Nice looking but I think I would use features like AEB and I'd like the flexibility of using non AF-S lenses so this really isn't quite up there

Nikon D50

Probably my top choice at the moment, feels good in my hand, I can get a great deal on a kit with an extra 70-300 Tamron lens but I really really hate that small screen and I can't help but think of the better features on the 400D.

Nikon D80

I wish...my ideal camera but just too expensive

Canon 400D / Rebel XTi

I can get one of these with the basic kit lens (18-55) for about £450 and in my price range it's easily the best specced, but I just prefer the Nikon setup and the way it feels. Is the increase in spec compared to the D50 worth it?

This is what I have heard about a high mileage trans that has never been serviced before. If it's operating fine but has high mileage, can I screw it up with a service?

I went to a local bar/club on Friday night and I did not have enough cash for the cover charge so the person at the door told me to go to the bar and use my debit/ bank card to get the money from the bartender. The bartender took my card and charged me for the cover charge and gave me the cash. I just noticed that they added an extra $5 on there !

It has made my card overdrawn now by $2.50!

What can I do?

I hate to look like an idiot but this is some ongoing stuff between me & this guy. The other day he asked to borrow $100, I sent it, then canceled it bcz I felt like a SUCKER. Bcz during xmas/my b-day, I sent him, his son & mom alotta gifts & sent him $$ once bcz he lost his job. He didn't so much as send me ONE CARD. Since then his son died. There's more to the story his son was ABUSED. I told him it's HIS FAULT his son died bcz HE wasn't doing his JOB as a PARENT & all the signs of abuse were there, he didn't do nothing about it & now his son is gone. He got mad & said nasty things, we argued for 2 days. Later my conscience bothered me & I apologized. He told me "F your apology". Now I feel like I made a BIGGER fool out of myself for apologizing after I argued with him in a NASTY ARGUMENT for 2 days. Why do I feel like a fool for apologizing bcz he said "F your apology"? What's to be said about him for replying to my apology that way?
