For me... Yes. I have a problem. For you... Well, let me tell you about "Old Man Collins," TRUE STORY I knew him.
Ole man Collins was a country boy. He drank a quart of shine per day. some times two. But he ate 3 full squares per day, drank plenty of water also. he done this all his life. he was very happy an i never saw him where one could say he was "drunk." he never had any problems caused from drinking (family or legal or medical).
But he did drink himself to death in the end. One night he went to sleep and died in his sleep. He was 92-years old.
My Dad defined drinking to me. If drinking causes a problem in your life, that is to say IF you have ANY problems that exist that would NOT exist if you did not drink, then you need to slow up or quit. He did not define it by the volume of alcohol intake per-day. I don't either.
Hope that makes some since.

The only recommendation about alcohol that doctors and health experts world-wide agree to is ONE glass of red wine (we are not talking the cheap and nasty stuff) a day, apparently it is good for your heart. Apart from that they sat only in moderation. Moderation means maybe one glass of wine a day, or in general one drink a day. Or a few drinks a night but only a few times a night.
If you really like drinking, you can, if you are otherwise fit and healthy decide to drink 2-3 drinks every night. But it isn't going to be good for your liver in the long run if you don't say, drink lots of water or even water with fresh lemon juice to help flush you system out and clean your liver.
In short. ABSOLUTELY YES. A bottle of wine a night is unequivocally too much. We've all done binge drinking, many of us have drank a few bottles of wine or its equivalent in a night. But NOT every night. Take care of yourself dude.

A bottle of wine a night is definitely too much. That is the working of an alcoholic. If it is you or a friend that is doing this cut back or tell the person to cut back because when you are drunk, you can make extremely terrible decisions and you know you don't want that.

Honey, if the Italian people drink a glass of wine at every meal even breakfast, and they have their children even drink it from very young ages, at each meal, and they live to be "Old-Ages" than I say "Go right ahead and drink your one glass a day!!" Even Jesus drank a glass every now and then with His disciples, but the bible also talks about the drunk ones, seeing things that weren't there, and so on..... In other words, its okay to have a glass each day, so long as you dont do it, to get drunk.. Otherwise, you'll pay the "price" the next day! And even waist a day of your life, getting "Well" , your fine with just a glass a day!! Its suppose to be sooooo Good for you!!! In moderation, just like with everything in this life!! So, dont let anyone tell you any different, hun!!! Smile!!!

Having that much a night can do serious harm to your liver and kidneys. Try having a glass everynight. At the most a glass and a half. E-mail me if you have any questions!
Good luck!

I think an alchoholic drink a night is a bit excessive.
Do you want to be 65 and realize that you have rarely had a day without alchohol?
Old habits are hard to break.

For one person, it is too much. For two people, it is ok for a celebration, but not very often because it is still a lot of alcohol. For 3 or more people it is fine.
