Good enough car but if your are looking for a car this size with a bit of power buy the NEW cilo 197 or wait for the new vauxhall/opel corsa VXR/OPC both of these have about 197bhp (same as a golf GTI!!) and cost less than £16000

search the web for Skoda's rally history , they have always been a good car but the company was under Russian rule so they could not spend money on making the cars look good or luxuries . i predict that Skoda will in a few years be BMW's main rivals .

A bloody good choice, great performance and good mechanicals and economy for a sporty car.
Try and buy a second hand one as the depreciation is the only thing playing against it at present.

you wont find better value for money. it's a v.w. you just have to get past the skoda badge.
