I am personally a BIG Harry Potter fan. I haven't seen the Eragon movies, or read the book. I hear it's good, a mixture of Lord of the Rings and some other books and some say it's better than the Potter series which I don't find possible. What do you think?

I understand that when two people are in love, they have sex. But, every single night at 11 p.m, I am awaken to hear my parents having sex. They are so loud and I can't get to sleep. They have sex until 3 a.m and I have no sleep. I am a light sleeper, so I am awaken very easily and if I don't get my sleep I am very weak during the day. How can I deal with this? Should I talk with them about it? Or what? (No rude answers please!) Thanks.

My mom hates my boyfriend with a passion. Everytime I mention his name she says "you're not seeing that boy" or something related to it. She wont let me go over to his house and hang out with him or anything. I know she's trying to look after me because she said "I just want what is best for you and what will make you happy", but then she's taking away my boyfriend, which does make me happy. Also she doesnt like his age, cause we're 3 years apart. He's been in LCJC also. So what do I do about this. I love him with all my heart, but she just doesnt see it.

After the Day Of Judgment a man enters heaven and the angel at one of the gates asks him if he would like to drive a Lamborghini, a Mercedes, or a BMW.

Okay so whenever I mention I wanna lose some weight or that I'm on a diet people start saying stuff like 'girl you're just fine' or 'are you serious?' or 'you must be kidding'. The thing is I know I'm fat! Maybe not size 12 fat but I know I don't look like the pretty skinny girl and I know there are some flab to lose!!Sometimes they make me feel like I must have BDD or sth!! They all see me as a very pretty attractive nice shaped person when I see my self as an average chubby person! What's wrong with me.. or them!?

Why do people do that?! Are they tryina make me feel better or are they just blind?!

Hello,I am asking this question from Japan.
My question is about an English proverb "No pain(s), no gain(s)"
Someone says " No pain, no gain" is correct.
While the other insists that "No pains, no gains" should be correct, because my dictionary says so.
please tell me about which is correct.
