I understand that when two people are in love, they have sex. But, every single night at 11 p.m, I am awaken to hear my parents having sex. They are so loud and I can't get to sleep. They have sex until 3 a.m and I have no sleep. I am a light sleeper, so I am awaken very easily and if I don't get my sleep I am very weak during the day. How can I deal with this? Should I talk with them about it? Or what? (No rude answers please!) Thanks.

first i'd like to say that your parents must be very energetic.... 4 hours a night?

You can tell them you hear a lot of noise every night when you are trying to sleep (you don't have to say you know what it is, exactly) and wondered if they could be a little quieter, since you are tired all of the time. explain you are a light sleeper, and you seem to hear every, little thing!

doesn't sound too difficult... i hope you get through to them!

Well, if this is really bothering you, then, yes, talk with them about it. It's going to feel awkward at first, but if you can't sleep at night at all and feel weak during the day, then this needs to stop. I don't really know what to say, but I guess you could try listening to music with your headphones in to help you get to sleep at night. Two things are that you are listening to something that's not so....err....sexual, and it blocks out the noise. Hope I helped.

Now that's a tough place to be in, perhaps you could mention it to whichever of them you feel more comfortable talking to about it.

Is there perhaps another bedroom you could move too? Is it because their bed is beating up against the wall? perhaps you could slide their bed away from the wall abit if thats it.

Good luck

Maybe they want another child sleep in the attic or some where far away ...or tell them that you wake up in the middle of the night and you hear them

Yeah, I'd confront them about it. They'd be bound to stop having sex that late or they'd do it while you weren't home like smart parents would.

Talk to them about it. It's affecting your life!
