Recently I came to a great realization- I have a greater potential of finding happiness seeking companionship in people I call friends, rather than in people who say I am indebted to them. I know this makes sense, but it goes against everything I have ever been taught. My dad always says, "Blood is thicker than water," and what he means is that family is stronger than friendship. Ok, I went out with this girl I really like,even though it took me a couple months to build enough courage to ask her out. Well, we went out a couple weeks ago, and it seemed she had a good time. But here's the thing while at the movies, when she was leaning on me she kept looking up at me, so I had a feeling she wanted me to kiss her so I did. And we kissed here and there throughout the night. but I somthin is bothering her about going on a second date alone with me. Long story short, her friend told me that she said things are moving to fast and that we really dont know each other,even though I believe she made the first move.So to make her feel comfortable I told her lets go to sixflags with her friends next week,so it would take some pressure off her. But do you guys think its ok to hold her hand at least, or is that still moving to fast. And When she says things are moving to fast where are the boundaries between fast and not so fast.

..or can I excuse the error because it was written by humans (however inspired)? It doesn't look infallible to me.

One of the many things that people in other churches point out to prove that Mormons are wrong is the LDS belief that God is an actual man of flesh and bones.

Many claim that this belief is anthropomorphism at its best, which is defined as those who ascribe human form and characteristics to God. At the Creation, God said, "let us make man in our own image, after our own likeness...male and female created he them." (Genesis 1:26-27)

Thus, there is a difference between God creating humans in His image and anthropomorphism, which means that humans have "ascribed human qualities to their God." After the Fall of Adam & Eve, God said "the man is become as one of us" (Genesis 3:27), meaning that when Adam & Eve (with physical bodies) were created by God in His image, God patterned their bodies after His own.

Following His resurrection, Jesus said "handle me and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have." (Luke 24:39) This is Biblical proof of LDS teachings.

I want my residents to use the room, and enjoy it, but I worry that if they want tp through lets say a childs party, it can lead to more damage than it worth. I am trying to figure out the correct Deposit amount, and some basic rules to keep everyone happy.

My p;atest expeirence was allowing a resident to throw her duaghters 16th b-day. There was cake on the carpet, and thick syrupy chocolate on the carpet. Fortunatly, this was all, they did "try" to have a cake fight, but I was there and stopped it. I do not want, or would neer discriminate against children, however I need to protect "our" community room, or we wont have one to use!

Any suggestions??

Hey everybody, here's a question from my Calc2 book:

--Find a closed form for the nth partial sum of the series, and determine whether the series converges. If so, find its sum:

ln(1/2) + ln(2/3) + ln(3/4) + ... + ln(k/(k+1)) + ...

----

Any ideas? I haven't had problems deriving the closed form before, but I've never encountered an open formula like this one, so I don't really know where to start. Makes me feel like I don't understand the concept at all! Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 8^0
