It only makes sense, because we can't possibly learn it all in one short life. If you don't belive, I guess you're not supposed to in this lifetime .

I believe in a creator not in any one religion. It's all good but not for right now.

I want to thank all who answered and leave this question open for awhile.
And say I don't belive human souls live in animals or other species of life, They're different from us.
We as humans are all one, just at different levels,of learning and teaching.
Peace love and understanding to you all!

Yes!
I think we're destined to repeat 'it' as many times as it takes to 'get it right'.

Reincarnation is certainly an appealing idea. It's comforting to think that people are alive to fulfill a specific purpose or to learn a specific lesson. I've read a lot of the works of Carolyn Myss, one of the leading New Age proponents of the idea that people live multiple lives to learn different lessons in each and to work towards enlightment, and understand why people are drawn to her theories, or similar beliefs.
However, there are too many problems to reincarnation for me to be able to believe in it. The total world population held constant at approximately 300 million people until about 1800, when the Industrial Revolution began. Now, we're at about 6.5 billion people worldwide - over 350 million in the US alone. Where did all of these extra souls come from? If from other forms of animal life, then the numbers probably match up, but what kind of soul improvement do you do living one of your lives as a fly or a worm? If you only count humans, then the vast majority of people would have to be "new souls" that didn't exist prior to the 19th century. In that case, why would there be a sudden need for more souls to exist to learn more lessons? It just doesn't make any sense to me.
No, I believe we only have one life, and that it is our duty as human beings to use that one life to improve ourselves, to help our fellow human beings, and to be happy.

yes, I do. And when I heard about this it began to make total sense to me.....I always thought somewhere in the back of my mind that it would be odd if not unfair to live only one life looking as you do and being born into just one set of circumstances. We have to be different people, experience different things in order to improve our souls and one life, while I believe that can also happen....is not enough for most souls.

Yeah definitely. I think we die and are reborn, only that we loose memory of our past life at the moment of rebirth, but when we die again we go back to that soul with all the experience gained in that new life. Thus for eternity making that soul more knowledgeable.

I think about how endless and eternal Time is and I know I'll be back, because not existing must get boring after a while
