I have a coworker that I get along with really well. We have the same sense of humour and the same ideals and opinions, so we talk all the time at work. But that's it! We've only socialized once outside of work, and it was totally harmless. I have e-mailed him on the weekend two times and called him at home once in a year of working together, and it was always because we needed to talk about something work related that couldn't wait until the next business day. The relationship is totally innocent.

However, his wife seems to think otherwise. When she comes by, she is either cold towards me or ignores me. He has apologized before for the way she treats me, so I know I'm not imagining this! Also, she always seems to go out of her way to subtly let me know that she doesn't plan on sharing her husband. (She's very clingy, and my coworker has said that she's not like this at home)

What can I do to show his wife that I'm not interested and that she doesn't need to be concerned?

Okay, my girlfriend and I celebrated her birthday at the bar. When we got home she told me over and over again how much she loved me and that she was sorry that she didn't tell me enough. She is not a very affectionate person, but I am. Then two weeks later she said that she couldn't be with me anymore because she felt that I deserved somebody who was truly going to love me the way that I deserved to be loved. Does that mean that she doesn't love me or that we were better off as friends? I mean she has broken all contact with me but I just feel like I'm missing out on something. Don't we say things that we are truly feeling when we are drunk? If that's the case then why would she tell me that she loved me so much and then dump me?

The dealership that I am going to told me to ask my credit union for a loan which in turn denied me. He told me that if they denied me to not continue looking for a loan. Is this true? or is he just trying to get me to get financed through his dealership so that he can get a large 'kickback'? I know that as long as all of my inquiries and applications for credit are done in a 2 week period, that they wont affect my score, so shoudl I look for more?
