I live in San Francisco, California and I work in the IT industry, and after recently starting a new job, my boss asked me if I could travel to Australia & China, but I explained to him that I didn't think I could due to the law that states I must owe $0 to the government.

Anyone out there who's knowledgeable with U.S. law know if a citizen with my circumstances can, in fact, obtain a passport or work visa for employment purposes? If so, how?

I sprained my foot 10 days ago -- went to ER and got it x-rayed etc. It still hurts after wrapping it and using crutches; also iced it and elevated it as instructed. I still have pain every time I step but by end of the day it is really swollen. Yesterday so swollen I had to change my shoes when I got home from work before I had an auction to go to. When I got home from that a few hours later it was even more swollen -- skin stretching. I expect pain for a few weeks, but why so swollen? I followed up with my regular internist 4 days after the injury (twisted my foot in a pot hole near my office in NYC), but I am concerned that it still swollen so much -- more now than before. Also had some calf pain last night during the night; I don't wear heels at all and have a desk job but I do commute on three trains etc. to work 5 days a week. Should I be concerned? Go back to doctor?

He sais he is making peace. Well look at how many people have died when US invaded Iraq. You have Killed Sadam Husain. you want gas(and why aren't people looking at themselves and say they are fuc*ing stealing gas and petrolium which won't be here soon.)How is that Justice. I am Canadian born in Toronto and originally irish so don't think i'm an arab. But I am sad that so many children are being killed. Last Summer I went to dubai and I could not believe what I just saw, I saw soo many kids dying. Its a brown/black striped lizard with slick skin n a kinda long tail. If I have a heated rock, do I need a fluorescent light? I mean, they sell small containers for lizards/turtles. Those don't have a place to put a fluorescent light.

My daughter who was recently diagnosed with colorectal cancer and is scheduled to undergo chemo and radiation shortly, is saying that until they do the surgery to remove the tumor (following shrinking the tumor from chemo and radiation) they will not be able to tell what "stage" she is in. Is this true? I thought they could tell the stage from the biopsies they took from her when she had her colonscopy. Is there a doctor out there that could shed light on this for me? I have done a search about colorectal cancer, but cannot find the answers I'm seeking. Please help. Thanks.

I have a 7 month old female hound/lab mix that I adopted from the humane society. She is a good dog for the most part besides a few pesky annoying problems. She digs in the yard, chews on random things like wood and drywall, and she pulls ahead of me when I walk her. She listens really well when it is just she and I alone, but when other people/dogs are around she is practically uncontrollable, not violently, she just gets super excited and hyper. I know most of you are going to say take her to a trainer ***I PLAN ON TAKING HER TO A TRAINER** But in the meantime I was simply looking for some tried and true tricks from fellow dog owners.
