I think people in general are pretty sad. To make a stupid blanket statement that because a guy wears colored nailpolish he must be gay is absolutely stupid. Women can pretty much do what they want with fashion - any kind of clothing from butch to really sexy feminine - guys clothes - well they are guys clothes - brown, black etc. Not all men have size 14 feet and not all men want to look like they just put a car together. There is nothing wrong with wanting a bit of color in your life.
I am married for almost 37 years to the same great woman. We get manicures and pedicures together every two weeks for the past 15 years or so. I wear color on my feet only - because of assholes who would probably laugh if I did it on my hands. You cannot imagine the number of women, (yes women) who have told me they wished their boyfriends or husband would do it.
Stop being so stuffy - life is short - do what makes you feel good - not what makes others feel good. Remember that in the wild - it is the male animals who have the colors and are the sexy ones (peacocks - mandrill baboons etc). The females are drab and ugly. Maybe the same is true with humans and that is why all the make up???

I wear black because it looks better than a plain nail. It builds character!

and i heard wearing nail polish keeps you from having an ingrown toenail
