I seem to remember that "an" preceeds a word that begins with either a vowel or a silent "h" and "a" preceeds a word that begins with a consonant. I get confused when newsreaders and the like seem to stress the "h" sound in expresions like "an hotel". Am I missing something?

I saw him at my uni, and I will attempt to describe him. I thought I saw him on TV somewhere or could it just be a look a like? May be it was an ad, I'm not so sure. He was with acouple of people showing him around the college. He is mixed race, and has an afro, seems to be in his late teens, early 20s. Anyone know?

i am attempting to install 3 way light fitting in caravan . The present bulb socket connection is two black and earth i always i have done one red and one black the light surround is metal which is fitted to ceiling the earth connection is fitted directly to bulb socket any one advise please?

In the past yrs,i used to hav asthma,but as i grow older,i dont have it anymore,not even 1 attack.It used to be hard last time,as when i walk,even for a short distance,there will be a sharp pain in my stomach and out of breath..but its not really dat bad till i have to be hospitalized,But anyway,does it means that my asthma has completely go away?and won't come back?im still in my teenage yrs..and oh i have a cat at home where i am always cuddling n hugging her..haha.
