I became a grandmother for the 1st time last week. I am having a problem w/my daughter-in-law allowing me to hold & visit my new grandson. Is there a place where GP's can go & chat w/others about simular problems? I only live 5 mi. from them, and her mother is the one who is doing all for her (I understand Mom & Daughter) but this is her 3rd grandchild. This is my D-I-L's second child & her 1st isn't even living w/her, he is being raised by her parents. I have tried not to burden my son with this issue( he is aware of it ) because my D-I-L can be very unreasonable & difficult to live with if she doen't have her way. So I need to find a chat room for grandparents to vent their concerns--I know there are alot of chats for Moms but what about Grandparents??? I NEED HELP!

Since only 144,000 people are going to heaven, shouldn't the Jehovah's Witnesses quit recruiting?

They are only hurting their chances of getting into heaven! If they were smart, they would have stopped recruiting people after they had 144,000 members, and then ALL of them would go to heaven!!

I just bought a parakeet about a week and a half ago, and am having some trouble with socialization and eating

The bird will sometimes let us take it out of cage and we practice "stepping up" on each finger, but usually after 3-4 minutes she flutters to the floor (her wings are clipped). Other times she refuses to come out of her cage. She'll sing to the other birds outside. We also leave a radio on for her during the day so it is not too quiet. I've read and have been told that a diet of seed alone is bad so we have been giving her fruits and veggies but she never really seems to be eating them. The cage is clean and there are a couple toys but it isn't cluttered. Am I being impatient? Will she socialize to us more or is this the extent? Should I be worried about her diet?

00' Grand AM GT.. Coolant leaking from what appears to be the intake manafold???

The coolant is leaking from under the throttle body and appears to be coming from the intake manafold. I dont know if coolant is circulated through this manafold or not. The coolant only seems to leak out rapidly when the engine is reved up, could it be a manafold gasket and has anyone replaced this before? Thanks!

HE HATES ME??? he is always teasing me, he just started a relationship (not serious) with a friend?

of mine. The thing is that one day i ignored him and started to talk to another friend a lot, the nest day we saw, he did the same with another girl and said ok im going to substitute you for her, i said ok and got indifference about what he was doing so he stated teasing this other girl, after some time and no reaction from me he asked hey are you jealous? and i said NO.
My friend the one he with was also there, He also make me a comment like saying im with someone and u??? ohh u arent with anyone, which i answer i dont care.. i dont have to be with someone to be happy.
So what on with this boy?? he hates me or what?

How big is your 2 1/2 year old?

Why do preachers say "Can I get an Amen"? Is it because it makes people more likely to agree without thinking?

Does saying "Can I get an Amen?" make what you said before more valid? More holy perhaps? Do people get so excited by saying Amen that they don't realize what they are agreeing with?

Are they cosigning it without knowing what it said?
