You'll need to go to the doctor's for an ACCURATE blood test for cholestrerol. Chances are they will test for other things in your blood, just in case your cholesterol isn't your only problem.

Yes, there are at home tests--make sure the one you get measures HDL and LDL as well as total cholesterol, don't forget to fast for 12 hours before taking the test (like you would if doing the test in a lab), and if you're at all concerned about the results, be sure to follow up with a physical afterwards.

No you cannot do cholestrol test at home, BUT the blood sample can be collected at home as per doctor recommendation and pathologist too.
This is a privilege in desperate cases , however it's strongly recommended that you have it done by the pathologist in a lab.on your doctor recommendation.

Yes you can take an at home cholesterol test they have them in the pharmacy aile at cvs,walgreens and maybe other places that have a pharmacy too. My husband and I got one, it only shows your good and bad together.

There are no home cholestrol tests. That has to be done in a lab. Sorry, but you must go to the doctor for that.
