I've noticed that when someone mentions a belief in "spirits", many people, especially those who subscribe to a religion, answer that the spirits in question are "demons".

Why is that?

If you believe in demons, then it stands to reason that you also believe in angels.

Why couldn't the "spirits" one sees simply be angels? Or simply spirits? Why must they be demons?

I live on Long Island, and if you look at all the help wanted ads in the newspaper it states on so many ads bi-lingual a plus and or it says bi-lingual a must. Hello, this is America! You people who have these jobs available really won't give me (an American citizen) a job?? Now what??

Do you believe that baptism is a good thing because you are free from the sin you were born with and you should be baptised because of the pain your mother felt when she was giving birth to you. Or do you believe that people should not be baptised because they couldn't have possible committed a crime so big and it isn't there choice if they wanted to become baptised and little kids are taught that they are born with sin and its just wrong. What do you think about it because my friends brought this up during a lunch thing today and i am very interested to see what you have to say about it!?!?!

lets say a guy and girl really like eachother a lot but they live really far away..and they dont talk much.
the girl happens to be going to college by where he lives soon and hes really excited, cause obviously they both like eachother a lot.

is this bad that they dont talk on a regular basis? is it because its hard to talk and they dont want to develop anything more, and they rather just wait to be together ?

My children were very connected to the baby that was in my tummy. They were both looking so forward to having a baby brother or sister. How do I explain it to them that mommy had a miscarriage and the baby is no longer in mommy's tummy? Does anyone have any suggestions of how to word it properly so that they can understand it? Research has told me not to use the words "dead, died, God, got sick..." because they would only remember negative things related to God. Or if they get sick, they too will die. Or they will only remember the word "dead".
Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.
