Should I use mp3 player/flash drive instead of cds. I am so sick of my cds getting scratched and skipping. Will I have the same problem with MP3s skipping or sound quality?

What I do is put all my music into my computer as soon as I buy it, that way I will always have a back-up. Next, I always make a copy of the CD and put the original away. I only play the copies of my CD's so that the originals don't get damaged. Blank CD's are fairly inexpensive and it is much cheaper than buying brand new CD's every time you ruin one.

Happy listening and have a great day :)

ManWarBear is spot on. I have burned my entire collection onto CD's and if one gets damaged, I have the MP3's to make another copy.

I also have my MP3's (2500+) backed up to several DVD's.
