In general do you think today's pitchers are as good, or better, than those from , say, the 60's???
-----------------
My opinion is, no way.
Then, they started every 4 days, now , every 5,
Then, many complete games, today, pitchers may do one or two a season.
Then, pitchers had to hit, today except in the NL, there are DH's.

I get enough sleep, probably 9 hours a night during the week, and as many as 13 a night on the weekend...but why am I still tired? It's interfering with my social life and school, because i'm always sleepy. I'm 16 years old. I'm not on any meds that might make me drowsy. Can someone help me or give me a reason for this?

My son is 6, he is in the 1st grade and his teacher says he is in the bottom of his class for reading. She says he might have to be held back next year. When we read at home he is shaky but does fine. Im concerned because he has A's and B's in all of his other subjects. Is it really worth holding him back for one subject? Will that affect his learning in the other subjects that he is in the top of his class in?

I have never seen any other bakery, grocery or otherwise, that uses frosting on cheesecake. Or chocolate icing and their regular supersweet white icing together on carrot cake instead of traditional cream cheese. I've met a ton of people who all agree their bakery is not all it's cracked up to be due to taste and texture, compared to other places so how are they able to get as much repeat business as they do? Are people really that oblivious to what they're eating?

is more. Ladies this is not a personal thing for you alone because different guys look different places at the same girl.

Please list all the places that different guys look at you.

Guys you will be surprised. Ask a girl you trust what you look at first every time you see her sometimes it's unconscious.

I was floored when I was told. I was shocked that my secret was common knowledge among women. I didn't have to tell. If the ladies will comply you might like reading this list. Guys if you know please note the one place you look first.

I once thought I was the only one that looked at my weird place , but that's impossible , right?

We know that space and time are interconnected and that mass curves space-time around it. Is it possible that these distortions in space time send ripples across the universe, possibly through the medium of dark matter. These ripples either resonating or canceling each other out. With an effect that weakly interacts with matter so as not to disrupt it, but still having an effect. And would, under these conditions, objects moving in orbits cause cyclic patterns as the ancients believed was the way time behaved?

I want to give, as a token of gratitude, something to this young female and to these two children, a 9 year old boy and a 7 year old girl, who will help me prepare a psychological report posing as subjects. They will be asked to perform several psychological tests as well as to fill out questionnaires and forms with intimate and maybe critical personal information. They are assured that this information will be kept confidential although it will be supervised, and I will make sure that this report actually ends up with them.

-- Every branch may deploy. I *never* thought I would have to worry about it, yet here I am. Even the most unlikely of career fields can be sent to Iraq. They don’t care what your job is. Trust me: I’m a Spanish Linguist.
-- Every branch has its pros and cons over the other so you can’t just ask “which one is the best”? That is an opinion and you are going to get a different answer/reasoning from everyone.
-- Not everyone in the military works nice cushy jobs. Most of us work long, hard hours with little appreciation (and no overtime!!) for what we do (especially nice when you are deployed and working 15 hours a day, 7 days a week!)
-- Not everyone in the Air Force flys planes! In fact, I would say its only a small percentage of our force that have anything whatsoever to do with aircraft.
-- Patriotism and honor are real things and I think every person stationed over here feels theml! I am proud of myself and my fellow Airmen, Soldiers, Marines, and Sailors.

Is that too concentrated to use in a school lab?

I have a Goffin's Cockatoo and a Green Cheek Conure, they are wonderful and we love them dearly. We recently found an Amazon who needs a new home and they are willing to give him to us with cage and everything. We went to see him last night and he is very sweet, scared of strangers at first. But after an hour or so of just talking to him and being around him, he was content on our hands. He flew off once and landed hard on the floor, breaking a tail feather. My husband picked him back up and held him on his hand while I snipped off the broken piece. I thought it was very trusting for a bird who barely knew us! There were a couple of occasions when he could have really bitten us and probably been justified in his mind, but he didn't. They think he is 3-4 years old, and from looking at pictures he may be a Double Yellow Head. He has a yellow forehead with some yellow on the back of his neck, red coloring on his shoulders and some color on his tail. I don't know very much about amazons.
