Debbie S, don't be so ignorant. The church replaced a pagan holiday celebrated on Dec.25 to distract the public from it. Now most people don't even know it exists. Jesus was not born that day

but it is suggested it is either late autumn or spring ( around april )
most scholars say april though
due to the sheep in the fields , position of stars and other things mentioned in the bible

It's unknown. The Biblical evidence tells us it's probably in the Spring, when most new lambs are born, but it could theoretically be as late as early November. Anything more specific is nothing but speculation.

No one cared about the date of his Birth until around 350 AD. Celebrating the "Birth of a God" was seen as a Pagan act. Indeed, celebrating one's own Birth was seen as Pagan and UnChristian. The Puritans, for example, did not celebrate Birthdays or Christmas, as they viewed both as Pagan corruptions.

Around 350 AB, the Church in Rome decided to create a festival around the Birth of Jesus to compete with the celebrations about the Birth of Apollo. Most scholars favored a date in April, May or June, but the Church settled on December so they could absorb the Pagan Yule celebration.

It's not in September, it's in the spring.

The one clear statement in the bible is that the shepherds were watching their flocks by night. They only do this in the spring when the ewes are pregnant and about to give birth.

Various people have tried to tie the magi to some astronomical event which can yield a variety of dates but none of these is as definite as the shepherds. It also has the flavor of an addition to the story to make the birth seem more important than it was. Remember that Mark was the earliest gospel to be written and he doesn't tell any of these stories.

The Bible says nothing about a particular date. It does, however, mentioned that the shephards were "keeping watch over their flock by night" (Luke 2:8). When they kept watch usually meant the sheep were grazing. They would let them graze at night if the temperatures during the day were too hot. So Jesus was more than likely born during the Spring or Summer. Some say on April 1, hence the name given to that day: April Fool's Day, because of those (Christians) who believed on Him.

Nobody know for sure....but based on the scriptural evidence (which is based on John the Forerunner's birth and Elizabeth's visitation), a case can apparently be made that Jesus Christ was born on the 15th day of the month of Tishri, on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles, which corresponds to the September - October timeframe of our present calendar!

No one knows which day it is....it's just that the bible mentions that he was born in September...and that was it. Christmas Day is celebrated as his birthday traditionally. Don't know how they got Dec 25 out of September though.

Let me get this straight. You want to call attention to the fact that the birth of Christ is celebrated on a pagan holiday and you but then you want to figure out what his real birthday is in order to determine what His sign is?

Something is wrong here. Very wrong.

How do u know it's in September? In the book of Luke Mary got pregnant in the 6th month of the Judaic calender which falls between Oct-Nov on our Gregorian calender which means that it would be between Jun-Jul for his birthday.

Get your facts right. 26th June is the closest answer to what the scripture says- unless u r refering to another Jesus!
