The things I read in Revelation today, I just feel we need to pray for Jesus.

Bekkie asked if we put as much energy into humanity as we did into God, what would be different.

There were a lot of answers like "putting your faith in humanity is a dissapointment, put your faith in God".

But the question wasn't whether you should drop God, but if you spent the same amount of energy on people as well.

Think about it, would Jesus or Allah be more proud of you if you helped and cared about everyone in the world, and bonded with their other creations (people, animals, plants, etc) or if you just didn't bother with that and put all your energy on God?

Why are we on Earth if not to bond and help God's other creations, and leave the Earth better than it was when we came?

One month is on the 20th the next is at the beginning of the month. I hate this so very much!! I have ruined about 6 pairs of underwear by this whole cycle. I will admit I am kind of a beginner. My first period came on september 20, 2006, but this is just not normal. Can someone please tell me what I should do.

example: getting mauled by a lion & escaping..... having throat sliced, surviving... going into a fire and saving a bunch of pooeple- face badly burned on one side.....a bunch of mosquitoe scars all over body cause you were lost in the amazon for 3 months, and found your way back to civilization..... c-section scars? ... scars like that. .. any? wanna tell your story?

....and I woke up feeling terrible, realizing that some day I'd probably have to face the reality of it. I'd spoken to her the day I had the dream. I used to dream my Dad had died when i was younger, but never my mom. I've gotten closer to my mom as I've started to grow up and now I live 3,000 miles away from them in a different country. Recently got married, bought a house and have 2 dogs and realize I never appreciated her enough.
What does the dream mean?

I have liked my cousin's really good frriend for almost 3 years now. I am about to turn 17 and he is going to be 20 in october. It used to be just a crush, but its grown to him always being on my mind. He seems like he make like me at random moments, but only for a few, and when the moment passes its like im one of his guy friends again. But then again, I dont even know if it is a moment. Another thing is, He is still in love with his first love. He has their prom pictures on his wall and a photo of her on his phone wallpaper. They arent going out, but they are jelous when the other has a new "friend". It makes me sick when I think about telling him how I feel. And I really dont want to be rejected and never hang out with him again. I could really use some advice. Oh and by the way, he lives right down the street, on the next corner..maybe 4 houses away. hehe.

I started talking to this guy in August of 06, and we hit it off right away. We talked nearly every night, and there was a strong connection between us immediately. After a couple of months of chatting, we expressed attraction to each other, and all was good.
We spent an amazing holiday together (Thanksgiving), I went to celebrate with him because otherwise he'd be alone and I told him I wouldn't allow it. It was wonderful. However, we fell suddenly out of contact because the s**t hit the fan in his personal life, so I let him deal on his own.
Now, a week ago we spent 6 hours on the phone. He spent most of the time telling me how amazing I am, and how he was scared to lose me from his life because of the BS. He admitted to feeling as strongly about the situation as I have been feeling. Yet, now I'm scared he doesn't want to be with me. How does that make sense? I tell myself it isn't easy for guys to say those things so outright, but it's no real comfort. What to do???

My candidate would be the extermination of the Albigensians in a Crusade ordered by the Pope specifically to wipe them out.

These Christians were wiped out and the Inquisition was founded to make sure their form of Christianity didn't arise again.

These people had done some pretty terrible things, like treating women as almost equal to men, and failing to sufficiently persecute the Jews who were living among them.
