if not, then we better get tough laws on the books now against bestiality, before it becomes the norm.

Yes.

Most states used to have laws on the book making sodomy illegal. But it was never prosecuted when it was consenting adults, it was only used in rape and child molestation cases.

But now, either on of the Federal courts, or maybe the Supreme Court (can't remember exactly) has ruled that laws against sodomy are unconstitutional due to a case in Texas that was taken to the upper courts.

As for laws against beastiality, most states do have such laws. But their a pain to prosecute, because the prosecution has to prove that the animal didn't like it. (Which I just find absolutely, disgustingly hilarious). I found out about this during a recent case in Oregon or Washington where a man was killed by a horse he was having sex with. Gross, huh?

Ah, the slippery slope of Chicken Little logic is not dead yet. Considering the USSC did away with the legality of sodomy laws, making all state laws against it null and void, I doubt very much whether we'll be moving in the opposite direction. What kind of law would you like to form for the purpose of discrimination? Do you wish to go house and house, tear them out of their beds and slap ankle irons on them? Maybe string one up here and there in the middle of town as a warning against tolerance and a beacon for bigots? Now THAT would be a two for one deal wouldn't it? This world is changing with you or without you. How you deal with it is up to you, within the confines of the law of course. There are more bigots in the closet these days than gay people, and to me, that is a wonderful thing. I'd rather live next door to a gay couple any day.

BTW - When you find a large enough group of people willing to fight for the right to marry their dogs, or their pet rabbit, let us know, we'll sound the alarms. But until an animal can give informed consent they're going to have a little trouble with that whole repeating the vows thing (rolling eyes).

A law like this was thrown out by the US Supreme Court in Lawrence v. State of Texas in 2003. So no, the states may NOT pass laws outlawing homosexuality. See the decision below. Why would any state want to do this?

Quite frankly making laws to define what two consenting adult humans do in the bedroom is crazy. What consenting adults do is their own business.

Implying that homosexuality is wrong just because you don't agree with it is just an opinion. YOUR opinion. Making laws based on opinions is not logical.

As for your statement about beatiality, again you are comparing apples to oranges. Sex between two consenting adults humans is completely different than sex between a human and an animal that cannot give consent.

When an adult human forces themselves on another person or being that cannot give consent, then that is when a crime has been committed.

Is it just to late for American States to create laws against the religious agenda and its hateful spiteful look on everyone who is not them?

Some states did have anti-sodomy laws...the Supreme Court struck them down claiming that homosexual sodomy was a Constitutional right.

The Constitution doesn't state it explicity, the Court reached the decision through a back door.

Oops...bad ANALogy.

Oops...bad pun.

They keep trying but i do not believe in this day and age we need to put effort butting into adult lives. I understand some people religious views, however, if you are religious and against it live your life the way you see fit. An issue i have with the Christians is their willingness to rule others lives for example, against abortion, but how many older children do you see them worry about and adopt ,noooooooooooo they want babies, When they quit being hypocrites i will go back to church

First, I would like to comment on this question!! You guys don't know your butt from a hole in the ground and are so snowed over to what is really going on in the courts about this homo junk!!! They have always had their right dugh, they are trying to make it lawfull to push that life style onto someone elses kid or person and like it, which is unconstitutional just like they are B I T C H I N G about!!! That is why this crap is in the lime light!!! As for Cindy s...Anyone trying to rule what another does if it isn't taking the rights away from another is wrong and against the constitution, which if they are making my kid learn it then that is taking my rights away and I will fight it tooth and toenail!!! Just admit that you don't want to go to church, because you want to live however you want and not feel bad about it, so quit using others as your excuse!!! As for good ol' Harmon....Just because you may hate people that eat the human flesh of someone, does that make YOU a closet caniable? So quit being uneducated!!! Harmon, even you, YES YOU, are prejudice of something or someone!!! If you say you're not then you are a FAT LIER!!!! Everyone hates something, weather it is a food, style of hair or clothes or a people!!! Now if you're a prick and harm someone because of their likes if it is not hurting another then YOU (don't care who it is) deserve getting a beat down!!! Thank you

I wish they would create laws about people sticking their stupid noses into other people's business. If you don't want to be gay then don't. If you don't like abortion then don't have one. If you don't like living in 'sin' then don't. But keep your opinions to yourself and mind your own business. What other adults do is nothing to do with you and not your concern or there for you to sit in judgment on. Live your own life and stay out of other peoples.

The television news media is the source to push lovey dovyness for homosexuals. The reason why is due to them being quick to report anti-gay bashing and hate crimes to fuel the public viewers.
They also use this tool primarily for elections and are free to point out which polition supports gays and which doesn't.
Homosexuals will force us agianst our will to support gay marriage, but not cat houses which is about the same.
So I think so.
