Is there such a thing as a point that cannot be debated? Most people agree that empirically-verified facts are non-debatable except in terms of clarity of expression (the words used to state the fact can be debated, but not the fact itself). However, is there any point that can be made that leaves absolutely no room for debate, semantic or otherwise?

I dislocated my knee 8 days ago and the swelling is just as bad as the day after it happened. i went to the doctor on thursday and he didnt seem overly concerned about it.

To me it just seems that the swelling should have gone down some..

What do you think?

where can I go like a college or school just for 3 months to learn something manual or anything that I can apply as a living but to make money too; I do not mean like be millionaire just to make a good living.

I honestly do not want to spend years going to school as I am not that young and I like being independent as not to have to deal much with too many people or work from home if possible.

I would like to know how should I address an issue about my job who's paying teacher assistants more than the instructors who's been working at the school for years. instructors do more than teachers and I believe it's wrong for any company to do that. If I address the issue they would ask me how did I find out because we are not suppose to discuss salary at the work place. this has been going on dor too long. there's no standards on job qualification. It's like saying surgeons get pay less than janitors, please help me.

There will be 10 women getting together at my house. I am thinking of having a "Simple Pleasure" gift exchange. Each person will bring a wrapped gift that they consider a simple pleasure (coffee, candle, chocolate).

How should we distribute the gifts? I was thinking maybe like the white elephant game but I do not want anyone to have hurt feelings. Do you have any ideas about the exchange? Do you like the simple pleasure theme? What should the we limit the cost to? $10? Thanks for your input!

I don't want to babysit because I hate kids and would neglect them. I'm not allowed to do anything like newspaper delivering or going door to door selling things or something, or petsitting. Yes, this is kinda a weird question but....It took my grandmother 16 years before she conceived her second child. (My mother) My mother had four children without a problem. My sisters have been able to conceive just fine. I have very irregular cycles and am not sure if I even ovulate. Could it be a genetic thing?
