No. And even worse; your body can become dependent on them causing you to be severely constipated. If you eat fattening food, your body still collects the fat, carbs and calories- laxatives or not. Laxatives just makes the food come out faster- and in a not so nice way. Why not eat healthy smaller meals- you won't feel full and you'll be doing so much more for your body.
Another bad thing? Laxatives can cause you SEVERE bloating. They can really screw your digestive system up.

Better idea, don't take the laxative and eat about half of what you normally do, save the rest for a snack later. If you don;t lose weight in a week, cut the servings in half again, repeat until you get results. You will be surprized at how little it takes to maintain a healthy body.

Never, ever take laxatives to lose weight. That is a sure way to ruin your digestive system and possibly end up with a colostomy bag. Laxatives are meant for short term constipation only. Any other use is foolish and dangerous.

Uhhhhhhh, NO THEY CAN'T ! Taking laxatives to lose weight is a very dangerous game with serious health affects. Taking a laxative will amke you lighter on the scale by reducing how much you " temporarily " weigh by forcing your body to empty your bowels, but you will NOT reduce the percentage of your body fat. Taking excessive doses of laxatives will lead your body in to dehydration which leads to many serious health issues. Sorry, but diet and excersise is still the only way to lose the body fat.....

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

not a good idea.
your bowel is dependent on fibre. laxatives are an alternative to this.
too many laxatives and your bowel may become dependent on them but they can be dehydrating and irritating to the "natural system".
look for another way....please.
