I mean, Farrakhan has been entertaining me for years, and he can pluck a mean fiddle, but this is the guy that said he wouldn't mind having a suitcase made from a Holocaust victim and drops the words ‘dirty Jew’ like nothing. Do Liberals just love Anti-Semites or what?

This is some crazy English Yeast cuncoction loaded with vitamin B, and it looks like thick chocolate syrup. I tried it on toast and it was great. It tasted like a grilled cheese sandwich with sharp cheddar cheese.

So my brown thumb and I are going for take 2 on growing our own vegetables.

I had a tiny bit of success last year and managed to grow some broccoli, a couple of zucchinis and 1 yellow squash.

My issue is this:
If my broccoli (or tomato or pepper) row is successful, I now have… what, maybe 2 weeks to eat 9 or so heads of broccoli before it goes bad?

Is there anything I can do to enjoy the vegetables of my labor for longer? I could probably freeze broccoli, but I can’t freeze tomatoes.

I work so hard, and I want to be able to enjoy the things I grow.

P.S. I have asked this in the garden section also, but surely there are some green thumbs among the vegetarians.

:)

My problem is that I like my best friends's brother. I think he may like me to, but he keeps sending me these mixed signals. One day I am , yes he likes me, the other he appears to be indifferent. I am wondering, if he does like me, is he not making a move because I am his sister's best friend?

my bf and i went thru a really tough time, we broke up becos of so many reasons both on my part and his. it was a mutual break up and like any other break ups, it feels so devastating. we have been together for 3 yrs, btw. he wanted us to be friends, he wanted us not to lose our contact with each other. i have been having a very difficult time moving on, dont know where and how to start. it will really kill me if he is going to tell me sooner or later, that he has a new woman in his life. is friendship still possible after a break up? or should i just cut all communication with him?

Is any part of An Inconvenient Truth controversial? I watched the movie An Inconvenient Truth yesterday. It seems to have a lot of good facts. I asked a question on Ask Yahoo about oxygen dating because of it and somebody called it An Inconvenient Lie. Is there a legimitate reason to call it a lie, or was somebody just being witty?

My baby is comming April, and I am having a small baby shower in mid March with my close friends.

But I also want to have a baby "showing" shower after baby is born, so that we can introduse our new family member to more people (who are not so close but cannot be ignored, such as my hus's co-worker, business related people, neighbors...).

I am thinking about "open house" style baby showing, not a proper dinner nor party. Prepare some refreshments and pass out thank you gift (candy) with baby introduce card/wrap to visitors.

If you are invited this kind of shower, would you show up to say Hi to the baby and the parents?
I want to know if anybody had this kind of casual shower after baby was born.

Any suggestion is appreciated too.

This guy is getting married and he is a bit nervous since he is not too experienced. So he asks his best man to come along on the honeymoon and give a few pointers.

The best man exclaims, "Come on man, its your honeymoon, you're supposed to be spending time with your wife, not your best friend!"

To which the groom replies that he has already paid for a room next door to his for the best man. After much coercion, the best man give in and decides to go along. They work out a system where the best man will pound on the wall and shout advice if he hears anything going wrong.

So the honeymoon comes and goes, and the bride and groom go to the honeymoon suite of the hotel, and the best man goes to his room next door. After a few moments, the bride gets undressed, but the groom gets so nervous he runs into the bathroom and locks the door. After about five minutes of waiting, the bride says, "honey, are you coming out, I have to go to the bathroom!"
