The landlord clearly stated that he didn't want pets in his home.(new home) Still, the people choose to hide the dog whenever there is an inspection + they haven't paid a pet deposit. How do I report them? I don't know of the landlord's phone number so I'm kinda lost...

It IS my business, and no I'm not a "nosey neighbor". They are family actually who are horrible people if you knew them. Anyway, this dog is mistreated. It is kept in a small pet porter cage at least 20 hours each day. Let out only to go urinate or eat. If it does something they dont like, they will pick it up by one arm, and beat it with either their hands or a belt, saying that the animal doesn't feel it because of it's fur.

you just need to get ahold of the Landlord some way some how. How are you this closly assoiciated with the situation to know what is in the lease and that they are breaking it and not able to talk to the Landlord?

You can lurk about in the bushes and wait for the landlord to show up. Then you can tell him about the dog. But that's not a good way to make nice with the neighbors. You could start a war and then they'd be turning you in for every infraction.

If you aren't the landlord, owner of the house or living there it's really none of your business. It's between the tennants, their conscience and the landlord.

The only one who will be involved IS the landlord. It's not illegal. Send a note in with the rent I guess, but you may be looking for trouble here.

If the renters actions have a negative effect on you, talk to them....if not, give it a rest. Nobody appointed you to be the worlds police.
