the reason that i asked one day me and my daddy were walking outside the store and a man asked my dad for 38 cent and we were like why did he ask for just 38 cent and so my daddy told him that when he come out he will give him 38 cent so he bought a ham i think that is what it was an when he got through paying for it my dads change was 38 cent!!! crazy huh so my dad gave it to him and i was just wondering what did the number 38 mean to you

I vaguely remember 38 being the number of the house across the street from where I lived, years ago. The phone number at that house ended in 38. Dad built a plywood yacht in the back garden that was a 38 footer. It took 38 minutes to walk to the bus stop. One day I caught the number 38 bus by mistake, and ended up miles from home, and I had to ask a stranger for 38 cents for my bus fare so I could get home. Bizarre coincidence? You be the judge...
