....actually started my child out in his own dark room in the bed by himself. My son slept in a cradle in my room for about a week. Then we moved him to his own room. We put him in his bed at nap time and bed time, cut out the lights, and walked out. We never had any problems with him sleeping through the night. Also we never put him down with a pacifier or a bottle. Am I the only one that did this? It seems like some parents on here have so many problems with their children demanding they sleep with them, etc..

I play flute and piano. I recently had a daughter who takes up most of my time. I wasn't able to practice the flute very much during pregnancy because I had no breath support. I got out of the habit of practicing, and need to get back in the game. Any tips on getting motivated to practice again?

I am currently on sick leave from work with stress. I have provided my employer with the relevant doctors note which tells me to refrain from work for 2 weeks. This is the second 2 week note that I have handed in. The note runs out this Thusday.

During this period I have been paid full sick pay by my employer. However, I received a telephone call from my manager earlier today to tell me that this Thusday will be the end of my sick pay entitlement (1 month) and I will only be paid SSP from that point until my return to work.

I dont have a contract as it is only a small company. Is it right that he can stop my sick pay and put me on SSP or am i entitled to full pay for a longer period ?

I cannot affor dto be off work only receiving SSP and feel that it is forcing me back to work.

I´m sorry, I just haven´t seen any thinking on this...yet. But in all honesty, keeping in mind what happened in the 20th century and keeping in mind the great start to the 21st...don´t you think that even if Barack Obama DID become president of the U.S.A., don´t you think some ´patriotic Americans´ would be setting up the assassination, for whatever reason..? I went into the bakers and gave £10 note they gave me change which they gave was a old £5 note. I didnt know I went in to the butchers and brought tomato ketchup she gave me £4 change and accepted the old bank note. I then went to chemist and kwik save walking back she stopped me and said she couldnt accept the £5 I gave her. I have already left the shop about 5-10 minutes ago. She expects me to go in tomorrow and exchange the old note from her and give her a new note. Do you think I should do it. I have just moved into the area and I dont want to cause trouble just I dont want to end up giving a valid note for something useless. With that I can buy nappies and baby jars with it.
What bank branches still accept that. Please can someone let me know from recent experience in 2007 form exchanging notes. I live in cardiff I dont have a bank of england here and no point sending note off. it will cost as much to send it off.
what do I do?

I am using a wireless connection to access the net.I am unable to download any file(.avi, .pdf) using Bittorrent client. These are the following error messages I got in my log file:
WindowsUPnPException : none port_collection (XP)
Problem connecting to tracker
Discovery timed out
NAT Traversal warning (XP: Unable to detect any UPnP services)
Problem connecting to tracker
Please help me in this. I have tried every possible other methods, used different torrent client software. It is just impossible.Please again help me.

One morning I ordered a cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee with cream and sugar not knowing how much they put in there. I watched the guy pour 1/2 cup of creamer in the cup then dropped in 3 huge spoonfuls of sugar. By spoonful I mean the large spoons in a common silverware set. By this time the cup was more than 1/2 full and the coffee wasn't even put in yet. No wonder their coffee used to taste so good! Ever since I saw that I will never drink coffee from there again. What say you?
