I was downloading a demo for a game and it started out at a whipping 1.45 Mbps but then by the time it finished 15 mins later it was doing only about 430 Kbps. WHY????

Help my 3 1/2 month old is teething. I can see one tooth coming in on the bottom. I got a teething ring, but it is way to big for her mouth. Does anyone have any ideas on how to relieve her pain? She is very fussy. I have some teething ointment but it says that it is for four months and older.

I really want to get my cartlidge pierced and i don't know anything about getting it pierced. I really great guy I know from work has mentioned that I should come over to his place to discuss bible stuff, or alternately check out his Kingdom Hall. He mentioned a few things about the advantages that they have. He said that all their members can rest assured that they are marrying virgin females, who (the ladies) are unspoilt and will stay devoted (I told him that this didn't matter to me since I hadn't been "pure" since youth and didn't expect that in my fiance').

Are there some advantages to being in the Witnesses' faith? Would I be getting into a cult? I already told this guy that I wasn't really prepared to have more rules in my life.

We all know that kids don't read a lot today. A lot of the people here do enjoy reading, but I have to admit, a lot of you here are only here because they "forgot" (Didn't want to read it) to read their book and need help for writing their book report. The only time the kids around me read is when they are forced to do it at school. They don't take advantage of their ability to read and simply lie down and watch TV all day. I mean, it's not like you have to read all the time, but you still should read often. One example is that the kids on my bus simply don't read books because they are too long. Still, they only read the books because they have to have a book to read in Language Arts. So, why do you think they don't read as much and what do you think we can do to solve this problem?

yesterday was my 23th Birthday and I have made the decision to dedicate the next 2 years of my life to better it. i want to better myself emotionally, physically and especially spiritually. this decision was hard but necessary and during that time i will not date. what i'm asking, and hope that this isnt selfish cause i know there are worse problems out there, could you pray for me so that i could find the answers needed and to become a better person? i, on my part, will also pray. i beleive that after changing myself i'll be able to make a difference in this world...i thank all of you in advance. thank you.
