I have been trying to meet some new friends in the yahoo chat rooms, but all i get is men or boys trying to cyber with me. I don't care for it, i have a man, and just want to simply make some new friends. Does anyone know a good chat room to meet adults that isn't filled with these silly people? I am a mom and i have even tried the parenting rooms, but i still get these people, i wonder if half the people in there are even parents or even adults.

im 14 and my g/f is 16... we have went out before a few times, nothing big. but then i realized that i loved her... and she loves me too. i know she does, we do everything together. we even ran away together because our parents wouldent let us be together. now everything is ok with our parents though. we actually got caught trying to run away, and her mom was so mad at her that she put a warrent out for her arrest. then she was in dh for a day, and was on house arrest for 2 weeks, and wasnt allowed seeing me anymore for 3 months, but we got through it.. i got caught at her house when i wasnt supposed to be and got the cops called on me, and got in a lot of trouble but we are still together. march will be 11 months... i know we did a lot we wern't supposed to do just to be together, but i look at it as we love eachother if we would do some much for eachother... but my mom says all teenagers go through that and we dont really love eachother, we just think we do. so i want to know, is there anyone that beleives teenagers our age can really love eachother?

In a world that seems so full of doom and gloom, misery and hatred, there must be some good news to share.

After weeks of having a browser glitch when everything I tried was hopeless, I've finally managed to put things right. I've lost count of the number of times I've installed, updated, uninstalled, reinstalled or tried to download. Trivial, perhaps, but I didn't realise how much it was bugging me until today, phew, what a relief! and without spending a fortune on phone calls. Now perhaps I can catch up with a few other jobs that have been on hold.

I usually eat a bowl of oatmeal with some skim milk and splenda or a dab of brown sugar. Sometimes a bannana.
I usually eat salad with about 1/2 cup of tuna and some no fat dressing or some cottage cheese around 1 pm when I get a break. I keep low calorie snacks around and fruit to nibble on until I get home. Sometimes I cave and eat at around 6 pm at the hospital where I work. The evening hours are my hardest. I get off work at about 8pm or so and have to think of something to eat every nite late.
Oprah says not to eat after 6 pm. My day is not over at 6 pm and I would totally be starving if I didnt have supper after I get home. Do you have any suggestions for late nite meals which are low fat and satisfying. Also, why does Oprah think its important not to eat after 6 pm?

I have given many interveus ? but still i am not getting the job . i am very depressed? i feel because of my short hiegt i dont get the job. every one keep abusing me. i dont like people who keeps pinpionting holes in anther coat. as i am introvert i feel no one notice introverts achievements very quickly . extroverts are able to drag attention to themselves because of their talkative nature . now see to rakhi sawant only. i think its good to be extrovert.i have many problms in my life . i know its not good to keep talking about urself. its important to give importance to other to gain importance.
i myself want to live for thousand of people and help them but i dont know how . i am not able to help myself only.

Do you like Muslim girls wearing scarves?

Its sounds silly, but my husband likes them. According to him it adds strength to their character. Something like that.

A bit jealous, have to admit.. but I want to understand the men psyche and need to know exactly what generally men think about it.

So, I have a bunch of old LP's that probably will never see professional release on cd and I would like to connect my turntable up to my laptop and burn the lp's onto cd+r's so i can have something good to listen to while driving around or working. What exactly am I goit to need to do this? Are there any good websites (with pictures pref.) that can show me how to do this and not charge me. I realize I'll have to buy a cable, but do i need any kind of special software to do this? My laptop has Windows XP if that helps. Thanks in advance for any help

My family is very close, and yet my brother and his family rarely get gifts for the rest of us for Christmas or even acknowledge birthdays or other holidays, even with cards or phone calls. My mom has told me it hurts her feelings to not hear anything from him on her birthday or Mother's Day. And truthfully, it annoys me too when my child doesn't get presents from their family when we send them gifts for their children. It's not a lack of money on their part; their children get dozens of gifts from them for their birthdays and Christmas.
I've let this go for several years without saying anything, but now it's really starting to get to me. I just think it's so rude, and there's no reason why they do this except that they don't want to bother. If it were you, how would you handle it?

Hey guys,
Um.... well, for the past 3-4 months I've lost 30 lbs and kept it off. I now have a small layer of fat over some hard tissue over my abdomen (I've felt it... its pretty hard, but I think it would be arrogant to call it muscle, it's hard to see until I turn at an angle and flex). When I was burning fat, I severly cut back on my calories and I think I lived off 500-700 calories a day. Now my reasoning is that I can eat more food (I've partially lifted a ban on junk food like Subway, McDonalds and Coldstone Creamery, stuff I would never touch when I was trying to really lose weight) because I do more muscle development exercise like crunches and weight lifting and all that.
My Question is: Should I revert to burning fat to get rid of that small fat layer while cutting back on calories again, or should I continue eating more calorie/energy laden food in order to promote muscle growth.
If you think I am doing this all wrong, feel free to recommend something else
