if you have dreams while you are conscious, they are called daydreams. if you have a dream while asleep, you are unconscious. either way, dreams come from your subconscious.

Dreams are conscious thoughts you have during the day during your unconscious rest...so basically dreams are conscious because most people react to things in their dreams by talking in their sleep, moving around, and or sleepwalking.

dreams are a part of your subconscious, your feelings and your memory being fused together at once while your conscious mind is in the middle of it all interpreting what is going ont into reality (when you dream 99% of the time you think it's real life). But technically you are unconscious while you are dreaming because you are asleep... unless, like someone esle answered, you are daydreaming.

well in fact you are considered unconscious when you are sleeping b/c you are not aware of your surroundings or responsive at that time.
but the dream that you are having is conscious in your mind because when u are dreaming u know what is going on you are aware of your surroundings in that dream you are semi responsive in the dream, no u really can't feel anything in the dream but sometimes if your mind is stressed out b/c of that dream you might think u feel something b/c it is your body acting in a form of stress or anxity.

Dreams can be both.... sometimes dreams are a "replay" of the day's activities... sometimes they are more about subconscious issues. Dreams can be used for healing, to solve problems, etc. According to Dr. Carl Jung, dreams are very important as well as their symbolism.

It can be both. It's like in voluntary(conscious) and involuntary(unconscious) memory.

Dreams are unconcious, though the result from concious activities. They are based upon things that have happened while you are concious and they are your mind interpreting those events. Or it could be your mind mixing memories as it sweeps over all the information stored in your brain.
