I have 2 yorkie pups, each about 4 months old. One of them became very sick and was vomiting (yellow) every so often. She wouldn't eat and was not her playful-puppy self. I took her to the Emergency Vet and they just gave her shots for dehydration and checked a fecal sample for worms which came up negative. They suggested she might have the flu. The next morning I tried feeding her and gave her a bowl of water. No Luck. My father rushed her to our regular Vet because she continued to vomit and not eat. They kept her overnight and said she was very dehydrated. Not only did I throw $150 down the drain at the Emergency Vet. I still don't know the actual problem she has. I'm very scared and I don't want to lose another one like this. What could be the problem? The other pup(her sister) I have is perfectly fine. I just don't get it.

I put this on earlier and people who have no clue what a target heart rate is started trying to answer my question. It's very annoying! I am 39 years old and I usually exercise at a heart rate between 150-165. I got stupid answers like 80-100 bpm. You would have to be lying down and barely moving to have a heart rate that slow!!!

Here is my question
Is there a chart for teens? I had my 14 year old daughter put on my heart rate monitor while she was skating just to see what her heart rate was and it was 180. Yikes! That sounds like alot but I know the younger you are, the faster your heart rate usually is. She is out of shape and I'm trying to get her started exercising and I don't want her to over do it but I want her to get the benefits of it.
