I don't do breakfast but my partner has museli and a coffee in the morning.

We both take a salad, yogurt and fruit to work for lunch.

As for the evening dinner, it depends on what I take out to defrost before I leave for work. Last night we had tuna steaks with prawns covered in a lemon and coriander sauce served with rice, tonight we have jerk chicken with rice and peas, the night before last we had lamb chump steaks with cous cous and salad.

On a weekend we normally have sandwiches or something small for lunch and on a Sunday I occassionally cook a roast dinner but the majority of the time we go to our parents for dinner.

It depends on whether we work, have kids, are going to be home. For the majority of us, we don't plan as much as just keep lots of food in the cupboard and make it up when we get hungry. Some of us with families, especially bigger families, plan a week or month at a time. Most of us get a general idea, for example we may be thinking about something we want to eat or cook for dinner tonight, but we don't make a real plan. Americans (I'm guessing many Europeans too) don't cook as much as you may. We tend toward food that takes less time prepare because we buy it half-prepared.

I buy a week's worth of shopping and work out before I go what we are having for dinner (roughly) each day that week. Then I top up at the local shop for fresh fruit & veg/milk/bread etc if needed.

We normally have cereal/toast for breakfast, then my partner takes sandwiches to work for lunch- my daughter and I have a sandwich/cheese on toast or something and then for dinner we have a big meal - fish & veg/lasagne/pasta/meat etc.

I clean and get the household jobs done while my daughter has a little afternoon sleep, and then cook dinner, partner comes home and then I wash up get daughter to bed and we go to bed! Yeah, I know how to live don't I!! (such a rock 'n roll lifestyle!)

It would be interesting to know the difference, if there is any.

I just tend to do a bulk cook one day a week to put in the freezer as week days meals, I find that if I have to sit and plan a meal for each day I will get complacent and buy junk food from the supermarket for tea instead, I just find bulk cooking easier and much more convenient, all meals are made for the week and you just have to take one out of the freezer each day.

I just buy a bunch of groceries once a week that can be easily combined into several different meals then I cook at a certain time each day. If no one is home I put it in the fridge for later or eat it all myself.

Well speaking for myself I don't cook 3 meals a day, I plan one big meal in the evening, breakfast we have cereals and fruit and bread, lunch may be sandwiches or potatoes, something simple and then in the evening we have a large meal like curry, a pasta dish or something and a dessert.
