Because I want one....
The only decision would be shall I get my third tattoo on my ankle or my thigh, think i'll prob end up getting both, coz I want a little fairy on my ankle and my kids names/initials on my thigh

Its a personal choice you either like them or you dont, if you dont like them fair enough, but it doesnt give you the right to judge what kind of person someone is just because they have a tattoo,
your judgement would probably be wrong anyway, in my case you got it wrong....... I've been with my husband for 12 years exclusively, he might say i'm easy but no other blokes could tell you that about me......
Feel better after my little rant!! It really riles me when someone judges another on looks etc

i believe that getting a tattoo that simply just looks cool would be reason enough. i believe that if i got a tattoo that meant something at the moment, it would change meanings sometime in the near future.

I think it has to do with the fact a tattoo is permanent, but I plan on getting my mothers initials tattooed on myself(she recently passed away). It fills the loss with a sort of proxy permanence.

I have 4 four tattoos; the reason why I had them it's because each of them means something to me or describe my personality.

cause i felt like it. geting a tattoo has always cheered me up.

I have two tattoos, and I got them so I can be cool. I wanted them since I was a child.

I'm afraid my reason would have to be a flash of insanity....otherwise I'm never going to get a tattoo.
I've got nothing against people who DO like to have them, but they just don't work for ME!

I have two and I have them because I just wanted them. Same thing as people just wanting a pet, or just wanting to get the ears pierced.

mine simply was to express something that was meaningful to me and my dad...
i have the pow/mia symbol tattooed on my upper right arm
