I hate the NBA, but I have always enjoyed all star weekend. This year however, was painfully boring in my book. Seems like the highlight of the entire weekend was the race between Charles Barkley and that old referee. This was funny, but when that is the most exciting part of the weekend, that is a disgrace!

The skills challenge is a joke, with players like Kobe and Lebron jogging through it, basically showing that they are too good for that and don't want to be a part of it. The 3 point challenge was ok. The dunk contest gets worse and worse every year! Why can't some of the good players participate in it at least once in their career? Lebron almost got hurt in the game throwing the ball off the glass, and he can't risk getting hurt for doing 5 dunks in a contest with no one in his way?

The actual game was average to me. Sure there was some nice moves, but it was the least competitive in years, and the dunks/moves weren't nearly as good as recent memory.

We adopted a dog from an older person who just passed away. My husband is friends with her son and he was the one who asked if we wanted the dog. We wanted one, but weren't quite sure about the timing. Now the dog's with us and we don't know anything about her. She didn't come with any toys or a blanket or any info on her habits (going outside and daily habits and stuff). Did we make a mistake in taking her in? I was afraid they would put her down if there is nobody to adopt her. The shelters in NY State euthanize animals that are not adopted in a certain amount of time! Please help - any ideas and input is highly appreciated.

they hide their heads and ignore me, I really think that there are a lot of other americans like me who also support Al Qaeda even though we are not Islamic. I mean like I would have been against my government over the issues with native americans and never supported their removal from homelands by the government, nope, I would have been an indian lover and helped them just like I do Al Qaeda, I am compelled to stand up for peoples rights to freedom and condemn the rich.

so i have acuvue oasis, day and nights. ive been wearing them for almost a year now.

all the sudden when i went to put them in this morning i couldnt see close to my computer screen without closeing 1 eye. its like they cross and i see double
it seems to be getting better but i dont know.

also i do have an astigmatism but its slight and my doc. said not to worry about it..

i also checked them for tears, i cleaned them i put drops on my eyes and NOTHING..

please help

Okay my hubby and i have been married 2 yrs and have a 1.5 yr old daughter.My husband and i have defentiantly have had our problems.I even considered divorce 3 times already(no he did not know) but recently i changed my mind just before handing him the divorce papers because he did something nice for me like he used to while we were dating.So i thought maybe we could solve our problems and stop the never ending fight. I was trying to find a show that i had taped a while back on design that i thought would help me on some ideas with a client(i do interior design).What i found was a tape of my husband cheating on me in our living room it was recent because the leather chair in the backround i bought for him recently as a gift.I feel so hurt and heart broken but cant bring myself to confront my hubby?

It's often stated as a truism that nations 'get the Government they deserve': by not opposing weak or corrupt governments, people end up with these rotten administrations. However, noone seems to dare accuse African nations of this! Sub-Saharan African nations are almost exclusively governed by military dictatorships, corrupt, repressive elites or demagogues, yet the response from the developed world is (seemingly) infinite and patronising tolerance of this. Are the people of these nations in part to blame for their own predicaments? After all, many nations in SE Asia have been able to drag themselves out of the Third World in a way that most African nations have not been able to do.

I'm bought a used car from a private party, and they say they paid the loan off years ago. Will the county have record of this when I take the title to them for transfer, or do I need to bring in the actual lien release certificate from the seller? (Hennepin County, MN)
