In my opinion it should be only allow when a person is ill and has no cure. Instead of suffer and wait for a long painful death it's better to end the pain for once and for all. This decision should be taken only by the person who's life is in danger or if the person cant speak by itself, the family should make that decision.

Those who are desperate for euthanasia are anyway on their way out of this planet - sooner or later! So, why terminate it suddenly!

who will decide who dies, should any one who wants to die at any age be allowed to kill them selves, can you father or mother kill you if they don't want you any more, do we kill off old people just cause they are sick , do they get a vote, do we kill all disabled people off , should a doctor decide, the police ,who?
