the media has one objective and one objective only and that is their own objective which is to make money. they will tell you or show you anything they think you want to hear or see to keep your eyes glued to the tv screen between the commercials. so do i trust the media? heeeeeeeeelllllll nooooo!

Not the mainstream Western media, nor do I trust the Israeli media.

I trust the media to be the media. Remember, their primary obligation (as they see it) is to deliver advertising. In order to do this, they try to create programming that will command your attention. As long as you're consuming it (watching it, listening to it, reading it, etc...depending on what kind of media it is), they're happy. They'll do whatever it takes in order to get you to keep consuming.

Unfortunately, that doesn't always mean I'm getting factual, unbiased information on my news programs.
