My girlfriend is overweight. She doesn't look huge or anything and im not sure how much she weighs as she will never tell.
Basically she is insecure, unconfident and unhappy. She has no sexual desire and she has a problem with intimacy at the moment.
I am desperate, i love her so much but i dont know what to do. She has bought a treadmill and many other fitness things, tries them for a week and then wont touch them. If i mention anything to her about losing weight, having a run, that sort of thing, she bites my head off. She is also very bad tempered. I just don't know what to do any more. I need intimacy. I don't care about the appearance so much, it's the confidence and the personality i want back. She is miserable and i need help. What should i do?????

I know that light weight lifting builds muscle which will help burn more calories, prevent osteoporosis, etc. I am trying to fit/sneak some into my regular daily routine. I see lots of posts saying ankle weights are bad news for different reasons, but if I just wore them for a limited amount of time on my wrists or ankles, while doing routine chores, would that benefit me as much as 5 or 10 minutes on the weight machine, which I tend to avoid!? Or is it a waste of time?

Has anyone recieved an e-mail from a "PAUL PETERSERN " from Ghana.......asking to make you the beneficiery for 10.5 million dollars?????

Long ago I use to like Britney Spears. I never thought she was a good "role model" for little girls to look up to but then that is where parents should step in and refuse to buy the CD.

With her recent actions, I know I would NOT allow my 5 yr old daughter to listen, dress, or look up to Britney. The woman needs to realize she is a mother to 2 little boys that really need her in their lifes. Britney going out and drinking all the time, shaving her head and what not is not something that a mother of 2 does. Not at least a good mother.

I'm not against her shaving her head...she can do what she wants. But I think that she is losing her mind and that is why she shaved it!

Right now, at this stage in the game, if I were a judge, I would probably be forced to grant custody to K-Fed even though I'm scared for those 2 little boys with him too! Maybe foster care would be their best bet!Then the parents might love them enough to act like it!!!!

What do you all think???

I had surgery last Friday for a lateral meniscus which was completely detached and was reattached. I also have a torn ACL ligament which was not dealt with on this surgery. Prior to the surgery, my knee was very swolen and dislocated to the left. I am currently in a full splint and will probably need that for awhile? Any suggestions or has anyone gone through this? The knee is still unstable and I will probably need future surgery for the ACL ligament via ACL reconstruction.

...but mice are getting under the hood. They take bird seed and hide it at my air filter. There are also lots of droppings on my battery.
Also..aside from the fact that this is disgusting... are there any health concerns? (I think they are field mice... Hunta virus?)

I'm currently a full time college student. I've gained 30 pounds since fall of '07 and went from a size 9 to 13. I’m not trying to lose weight because my appearance concerns me but because I can't afford more pants and need to lose the weight so that I can breathe in them once again.

I know my weight gain is due to inactiveness because of all the studying and the sweets that I eat to stay awake in class and gain some energy. Can anybody offer any ideas on how to lose 20 pounds at least? I’ve already quit the sweets and I’m trying to stop drinking soda and coffee. Are there exercises I could do that would target that area and are not too time consuming?

Also what foods can I replace from sweets to help me stay focused and alert and please don't say chocolate. I can't really find fruits and vegetables because I go to college downtown and there arn't any fruit markets and they go bad within a few hours if I try to bring some with me.
