Since going natural, the texture of my hair has changed pretty dramatically; from fine and thin, to thick and kinky. I usually use Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo, and condition with his The Detangler, and that worked great when my hair was relaxed, but I was just wondering if there was a shampoo and conditioner that would be even more beneficial to my hair in the state it's in now?

Btw...When I say natural, I just mean no relaxer, because my hair is color-treated too, if that makes any difference.

Am I the only one who thinks that music has gone a bit downhill lately?I mean like Britney Spears,J-lo, and Beyonce,to me they cannot sing very well compared to past divas.I mean i am glad for their success,but it seems that even rap music is a bit routine.It is either about bling or money now,but I can remember it having a deeper feel back in the days.I cannot sing but I loved hearing artists work their voice and even grew a love for opera because of it.But does any one feel that music has been in a bit of an artisic rut lately?How much could you be convinced to spend on a Britney Spears ,ect cd?

Hi, all my life whenever I saw an aquarium in someone's home, I noticed that they had a air pump running putting bubbles into the water. Now I bought my 1st brand new Tetra Care 29 25 gallon aquarium. It came with everything, the hood with light, power filter, heater and thermometer. Everything except gravel, water and fish and AIRPUMP !

I assumed all aquariums needed an airpump. So I read through the instructions. It said that the water flowing back into the tank from the power filter disturbed the water surface enough to put oxygen into the water. What do you guys think?

Do I need to go buy a airpump or not?

I a have non self sufficent 25 yr old girlfriend who can't even balance her own checkbook. She has a gullible, naive personality, (every sales persons dream!) Anyhow, she's been ripped off apartment wise, vehicle financing wise, well the list can go on. She can't cook, clean, sew, do laundry or even clean her cat's litter box ET CETERA.
She actually had her mom do EVERYTHING for her. She recently moved in to her own place with roomates.. I'm just worried she won't last a week there.. Hey! I would show her the ropes of life, but I can't show her everything! Maybe a book would help?

Are there books that tell you how to do EVERYTHING?

I, myself believe that consciousness, or the ability to understand our existence relative to other living things, was developed over time through the process of natural selection (that is, one of the tools which enabled us to thrive) . Anyways, what do you understand consciousness to be and what role does consciousness play in your beliefs in an afterlife? People talk about the afterlife as if it's necessary to validate our efforts or suffering, and yet without this consiousness we wouldn't even be fully aware that an end to life was comming. I bought my house in nov 2005. During closing in nov 2005, the seller paid me say $3000 for the tax she owned from Jan-Nov 2005.

In May 2006, I got the house tax bill of say $3500. I paid that amount.

Now in Feb 2007, when I am filing my income tax returns, do I put $3500 for tax paid or do I say I paid $3500-$3000 = $500?Please advice.

Some of my friends tell me that seller paid me in 2005. That is history. I paid my house tax in 2006. And since I am filing income tax returns for 2006, I should put what i paid in 2006. Which is $3500.

I feel that is wrong both ethically and legally.

Please advice.

So we are most likely going to be relocating to Denver soon, and I am wondering how the altitude and dry air effects the skin.

Currently in Seattle, I have to fight oil and use VERY light moisturizers or I will break out - I suspect Denver's climate will change this to needing heavier moisturizers?
