I was just wondering, my mom and i bought a 1987 Buick Century today and my mom is wanting to buy a new muffler for it and we were just wondering how much a new one would cost. My brother-in-law is going to put it in and i was just wondering how much they would run up to. Thanks for the help.

well the mufflers no problem go to http://www.partsamerica.com/ and list your year make and model, and enter what you want or look under replacement auto parts and it will be listed mufflers or exhaust so it's not prob the muffler standard 70 to 100 bucks tops... and putting it in is not hard at all bolt on no prob with the exception of the clamps gotta get the right sized ones...

Mufflers run pretty cheap. You can pick one up for under a $100-150. I had one installed at a muffler shop and only parted with $120. Not to bad.

I dont have the exact but usualy for older cars its not too expensive, probably around 200 or 300 dollors. sorry wasnt much help.
