I'm writing a lab report for a lab excersize testing for the presence of macromolecules... I'm trying to figure out what these substances could possibly be - you don't need to be sure, and I would be more than happy if you gave more than one possible answer for each substance. Just looking for ideas as it is 2 am and I am coming up blank.

Substance 1:
Tested positive for the presence of; Protein, Starch, and Sugar.
Tested negative for the presence of; Lipid.

Substance 2:
Tested positive for the presence of; Sugar.
Tested negative for the presence of; Protein, Starch, and Lipid.

I started to get a sore throat on Saturday, it turned into a cold and now today my voice keeps disapperaing and it's gone all croaky.. I have had a bit of a caugh today which isnt helping my throat either.

I've been sucking lozenges for most of the dauy and they havent helped at all.

It's really annoying and upsetting me and I can't spare anytime off work right now to rest my throat.

If you look at ancient buildings (Roman etc) they are nearly always a meter or two lower than the current ground level, why is that? Do they sink with time or do they get covered up and buried. If they get buried does that mean that the surface of the earth is rising, that does not seem to make sense, the earth is not getting bigger.

would protect against terrorism and drug money laundering by keeping track and record of all transactions, many of these "small businesses" and convenience stores money launder and don't give receipts, gov. feels ok if pay taxes (like al capone, mainly charged for not paying taxes on ill-gotten gains lol), but no record of transaction, wouldn't it be good then you could return your rotten milk and have a record of purchase lol place in bone where could not be removed easily, and bone would show tampering lol

im in high school... i still have a hard time deciding what to do with this girl i like on valentines. i will send her rose and chocolate for sure.... however, i wont see her until after school because we are in different schools and it takes me a while to get to her school... also, i don really know any places around her school.... where should i take her after... it will take too much time to drive to the area i know when i pick her up... where should i take her that day? or should i just send her rose and chocolate that day and tell her to go out on weekend? so we get to spend more time together and not run out of time on wedesday(school day)? what should i do? help thanks
