Animals kill. Some animals kill members of their own species. If there is no God, then I am nothing more than an animal with Cognition. Why do you argue for morality for only one species animals?

See you can't compare humans with animals even if we say there is no God (i must say there is no god in fact). I Believe animals are killing for their food they are not killing them on purpose of hatred or for some reasons known only to man. Man, being an intelligent being is much more responsible for his acts though u can't say the same for the animals, their purpose of killing is (1) FOOD OR (2) SELF DEFENSE. For being moral, still not have belief in god is no wrong. Why do u need a god to be a moral human being. Can't u be good if u don't feel a threat of gods.

Even if there is a God, you are still nothing more than an animal with cognition. "God" doesn't make you anything special, the brain systems that your species have evolved make you different.

Who says I argue for morality for only one species? Don't put words in our mouths. Chimps are capable of morally responsible behaviour, as are apes, ants, birds, lots of animals. Yes, we engage in behaviors that are conducive to the survival and advancement of our species...that's nothing new. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that a species with females that do not take care of their young, for example, isn't going to get far.

There is no difference of morality between the theists and the atheists, because this is based on social acceptance which evolves through time.
The Messenger of God forbids the drinking of alcohol except its use as medicament. But until now, no societies enforce this law, so the drinkers are not considered as immoral.
The difference only concerns faith in the One True God. A true believer considers himself as sinner although he is not accused or condemned by the society. He repents, begs for forgiveness and asks God's assistance for fully getting rid of drinking.
The difference is greater in other various spiritual matters such as fasting, prayer, meditation and so on. All things are observed based on the commands in the Holy Books, not on the free devise of the believers.

Atheists aren't animals, you fool. You, with this attitude come much closer to the essence of animal energy than an Atheist. An Atheist, by virtue of being in a human body has advanced past the stage of an animal. (Your advancement is questionable.)

Morality does not come from God. Respect for humanity comes from living with others and wanting to exist in harmony.

Since there is a God, what then does that make you.

Animals are incapable of analytical or cognitive thinking. The react to circumstances based on instinct. They certainly cannot decide their own value system or morality.

What exactly are you trying to infer with your question?

Morality isn't the issue. Many Atheists have morals, some even better than Christians. The issue is a personal relationship with God.

Some human beings kill ,too, but this does not necessarily make them an animal. It does reveal a deep seeded illness of some sort in most cases though..God made animals AND humans. He knew animals MUST kill to eat, otherwise he would have given them the "instincts" to be vegetarians only..

lol. If you're suggesting atheists have no morals maybe you should look at the prison stats - 8-16% of the US population are atheists. 0.2% of the US prison population are atheists.

As to your question, why should we argue for morality for other species? Although, other species do have social rules that they follow.

Sweetheart, we are a social animal. Social animals like chimps, elephants, gorillas, wolves, penguins, horses, geese, etc, have moral codes, social structures with rules and acceptable behavior, it is for the benefit of all. We may have big brains so many are proud of, but we are relatively slow and defenseless. We must work together, and help each other. Books have nothing to do with it.

I don't argue for anyone not even me. We are all part of a world, universe and system, difficult to change in a moment.
