I have a two month old baby girl and I am not married to her father. We recently split up and child support/custody has not gone through the court yet. He is not threatening to take her from me. I want to let him see her but i am scared he will run off with her. he says he has the right to see her whenever he wants and to take her wherever he wants. I can not figure out this problem:

"A uniformly dense rope of length "b" and mass density "u" (mu, but u will work) is coiled on a smooth table. One end is lifted by hand with aconstant velocity "v". Find the force of the rope held by the hand when the rope is a distance "a" above the table (b>a). "

I just said that F(a) = u*a*g but apparently the answer is u*a*g*(1+v^2/(a*g))

Had virus, malware, or something, then pop-up hapened, and took over computer. I paid someone to clean it up, but later got a bill from "chargemelater", and now a collection agency (CRB).

hint: its been said that the thing that makes an object unique is the same thing that defines it. such as a Vessel is is a vessel because it holds something in it. if you put a hole at the bottom it would no longer be a vessel.
