tonight will be my first night working as a barmaid at a small rock cafe and i am kind of nervous. any tricks , or any things that i should keep in mind? i am clueless when it comes to glass measurements and coctails.

pretty much since i could walk, i was pushed down stairs, shoved at microway cabnits and blocks of wood, the wood caused a minor concussion, and he sprained my arms a couple of dozen times, now he just either yells at me or ignores me. was this abuse?

what is the law saying that you cannot feed live animals to any animals captivated in a zoo?why can u feed meal worms for example but not live fish to the penguins? is it something to do with vertabrates and invertabrates. But if so the why cant you feed live squid as they have no back bone?

I have been accepted at the college that's second on my list....I really want to go somewhere else but won't have a final accepted/not accepted notice until April. In the meantime, my 2nd choice college is sending me all kinds of "do this by this date" correspondence, i.e. - apply for financial aid, register for classes if you want to be sure to get that class.....do I need to do this stuff now? Can it wait? Should I call the admissions office there to find out protocol? Help - I don't want to mess up my choices with a bad decision!!!

Did a lot of people get together and put this all into what it is today or did just one very very smart man think of of this, one day when it was raining out and. This may sound funny but it all had to start from some place!

Hi all! I need some advice. I am not very good at hiding emotions especially things like hurt or anger and sometimes I wish I could. I see people around me who are calm and collected even if they're having a bad day. I want to be like that especially in social situations where I don't want people to know that I'm upset. Is there any way I can train myself to be like that? What should I focus on and most of all how do I control my facial expressions!?!

I am looking to get a new all-in-one. I want a machine with specific features, which I can find on either inkjet or laser printers. I am concerned about the ink cartridge vs the laser toner costs.
