Do you mean "is it wrong to laugh with special ed people?"

Special Ed can mean anything from Learning Disabilities to sever retardation. Now, you don't seem like a person who is cruel, so I will assume that a "Special person" made a joke and you want to know if it is polite to laugh with them since the joke might have been about him.

Laughter is a healing thing and when used right it can bring people closer than before. If you tell a joke about yourself to make a "special person" laugh then you can laugh and it will bring you closer. But don't wait for them to laugh first you make the joke about you and then they will laugh with you.

There are many, many "Special People" in our world and without them this world would be very dull and ordinary. Don't think of them as odd or different, because they aren't. They are just like you and me, with the same feelings, and emotions.

So if you want to laugh, and who doesn't enjoy a good laugh, tell a joke on yourself and watch all the people laugh with you.

Imagine the time you hurt the most when someone laughed at you. Now imagine that what you did when you were laughed at you did not have the ability to do any differently. By the way I heard some where that part of the judgment of GOD will be that we will go thru all the pain we've caused others .Imagine being in the shoes of the ones we've hurt and feeling their pain. Now I would say that justice wouldn't you?

Yes it is very wrong. They have feelings too. I have a child that attended special education all of his life. My child wouldn't want to be laughed at. It could mess up all of the work that we have done with my child. Just because a person attends special education doesn't mean that they are dumb, crazy, or even bad to be friends with. A lot of them are very smart. They just have a hard time showing it.

I am the mother of 2 autistic children. People that laugh at someone with a physical or mental disability because of something they can not control should be made to walk in their shoes for a day and see how it feels to be made fun of.

Yes it is. I always think "what if that was me? just because im normal now doesnt mean i will always be." what if im in a car accident,or have a stroke? I may be like that one of these days and hope people will have a lil respect. We take alot of things for granted. If you laugh at people that have disabilities you are only showing immaturity and disrespect to them and their loved ones that do a great deal to take care of them.

Absolutely it is wrong. Unfortunately, far too many people still make fun of and belittle people with disabilities.

There are the same people who, years ago, used the "n"word and othr derogatory language toward blacks, women, etd. They don't do that very often now--because they will be hled accountable. But our society is just as bigoted toward people with disabilities and still encourages such ridicule--so these bigots are free to do the same. But its no different than the abuse directed toward blacks or any other goroup--only the label is different.

People with any sort of disability work twice as hard as the rest of us to try to "fit in". Laughing at them is not only disrespectful....but 100% inappropriate!!!! We should respect anyone in special education who faces difficulty daily accomplishing tasks that we take forgranted.

Be a leader. Be respectful.

Do You mean Kids with disabilities? IF so...yes it is. Unfortunately, it is not their fault that they have the disability. They might be just born with it. Instead of laughing at them, try to help them out in some way or the other.

my child is one of those disabled children that kids make fun of and because they do she stays to herself and don't want to go to school. She is one of the top readers in her class so she has so much protental to be somebody but because ppl laugh at her she might not fulfill her true protental. a laugh hurts in so many ways. just think if nobody laughed at her she might over come her disablities and become a doctor or your kids teacher. and as far as looking different everybody looks different who says that normal ppl arn't the ones who have the malformations instead of the disabled ppl. you never know.
