It's an absurdly large, overpriced, under-built, cookie-cutter Yuppie palace. It's a shrine to wretched excess. One showing up in your neighborhood will artificially inflate the prices of the surrounding properties, forcing people on fixed incomes to pay ridiculously high property taxes. The owners of such houses always drive the huge SUVs, further proof of their conspicuous consumption. And they always have a "Save The Earth" bumper sticker, along with the one boasting their Yuppie-Puppies are honor students. But don't ask them to actually DO anything about saving the earth; that would constitute a personal inconvenience. They're biggest environmental concern is that there aren't enough bicycle paths.
Contemptuous? Yeah, I guess I am.

A McMansion is one of those tacky mail order type constructions not actually designed by a Architect,just built by a builder.The same kind of person has cheap ugly hotel type art and thinks Olive garden really is Italian food.A Sheeple type person.
